Although I haven’t been posting much, it’s not because I hate you (ok maybe a little) it’s because I’ve just been busy in my own world.

I do stop in from time to time lately, to check emails, clear the spam, and save a draft I never get to. But more and more frequently I’m noticing that I can’t get in. I don’t know if you guys are experiencing the same issues, I am assuming yes though because I am attempting to gain access from three different places.

So bear with me here, I’ll probably have more time in Feb onward to post more, and I’ll probably switch servers and do a redesign in that time period too.

Of course, I could be too busy for that too. Who knows.

One of my worst nightmares occurred not too long ago.

Miss Brit discovered this place. Hmm, don’t know how a professional researcher could have figured it out from the domain of my email address, several profile names, and a google search.

Nope it completely befuddled me too.

Well she’s still around so it’s a good thing right?

So she asked me not too long ago after she discovered it, who reads this?

So I’m thinking about tearing this site down.

For a while anyway.

It’s not fun anymore. Well it’ll always be fun getting reactions off of people. And some of the search terms are always a laugh too.

But it’s not fun, writing to this endless blackhole of the internet. It’s not fun having people drop a comment and having that substitute as an email or something.

It’s not fun having it be used to check up on me. After all I fill half of this site with bullshit. It’s not fun having people coming in for sick as fuck porn.

I guess I lost the point of this place a while ago. I still wish I had the old archives so I can figure out what that was. I think it was to practice web coding, and to maybe have a place to display my work.

I’ve been finding myself with sections I don’t have the time to fill. Bigger plans that I don’t have the resources for.

Even the blog, that I did keep maintained I don’t even have the inspiration to write in.

Anyway, I need another fresh start I guess.

My ghosts figured out my old tricks, and they beat me here to the punch. Anyway I guess what I’m trying to say is that, I put in a request at work to be transferred to London.

Yes London, in the UK. Where the Queen hangs out. It looks good that I might go, really good. I’ll be finishing my degree online, incase anyone is wondering. But even if I can’t go, I can’t be expected to run this site, work my usual 40-55 hours a week, and go to school, and somehow keep my social relationships, and keep writing at the same time.

Something has to give, and this time it’s RFNYC probably soon. But i’ll leave off with something good I promise.

Finally for love of you children, I have RFNYC’s first podcast. so for those in the know, get yourself Ipodder, itunes, and an mp3 player of choice and enjoy the music.

It’s kind of like the daily sonic, but better music, less whining, and more personality.

Shit I’m behind the times

So Here I was at the starbucks, looking up stuff. Sick of packing, and I found a mention of podcasting. I heard of it before but I never took the time to research this net fad.

It’s the most genius thing I ever heard of. I’m not kidding at all. It really is brillant. Plus I have Adam Curry to thank for this one. So here I was knocking myself out trying to get a better radiostation for the longest time, and everything was right here.

My only fears are what if the Live Journal dicks get a hold of this one. (shudders). Plus the cost of CDs, are gonna be a killer. (I am going to need fresh content) I haven’t even thought of the bandwidth yet.

But, if things work this should be worth it. I’m also getting an iPod by June, so I can suffer with you all.

So here I am today, doing the financial aid stuff. I then visited some people and now I’m back here checking email.

I’m also planning an upgrade/redesign. I like the notebook look. I think the content is all there and it’s going to stay. Yes I know I have to complete the photography section, and update the music section too. Getting the net back home would be helpful in this.

I think this revision is going to be different from the other’s.

For starters, I’m not changing the design really. I’m keeping the notebook look, I’m just reworking it a bit. I’m going to redesign some of the more static sections like the studio and the literature section.

I want them both to stand up more on their own, I want to put more focus on them. After all another year here, and I should be able to write more for a living. So I have to start being able to shill this site as more of a portfolio.

Anyway, I’m just killing time and missing law and order. So in the next few weeks if this site is down, you know why.

Happy Birthday RFNYC

Some how I forgot yesterday, but RFNYC turned two. If it was a child it would be old enough for me to start beating it’s ass.

I think there are several times for renewal throughout the year. One is your birthday, the fall, and the new year. I hate two out of three of them however so I’m screwed. But this is RFNYC we’re talking about, which is technically an abstract thing. It like so many other websites, isn’t a physical thing. It represents something to someone, so that makes it cool.

So let’s do the year in review shall we?

  • Iraq sucks, and half of the nation is retarded.
  • Our friendly national dictator is around for another four years
  • RFNYC died, then became reborn
  • I still don’t have a girlfriend
  • I couldn’t go back to finish school, but still attempting
  • I learned first hand that outsourcing sucks ass, but I’m starting a new job pretty soon
  • Adult swim kicks ass
  • Marriage is an institution, being a best man is an honor and a torture ritual at the same time.
  • I can beat up dinosaurs, well children believe I can.
  • You have serious problems when you believe Hillary Duff is a sex symbol, and you have a legitimate shot at her.

So listen to this stuff kids and be enlightened. Thanx for the memories.
