A funny thing happend on the way to the bank

FOUR MORE YEARS!!! FOUR MORE YEARS!!!!!The meeting last friday went well, the person I talked to was nice, and responsive. She asked intelligent questions and really wanted to know why now? I gave her everything truthfully, and although I think it went well, it might not have. I had a different feeling from this interview compared to the one at FIT last year. That one I can tell they weren’t giving me an inch. This one I can tell it was more of a probe to see if they can help, and if I was able to be helped.

They said I would get a response monday, so I went to work. I bought a discount game to keep my mind off stuff, caught a movie. Wasted lots of time in the journal, which didn’t help. But I did my best to keep my thoughts away, and my hopes up.

My plans for the day was go to the bank, do some overdue laundry, crash early, and wake up for work tomorrow. Until I get the call, Everyone has those calls that can be complete life changers. Some of the sadder calls is the loss of a loved one, some of them is that big contract.

Five Second Concert Review, and a Single Life Post.

If I could summerize The Pixies performance tonight in two words FUCKING AWESOME!!!

The energy they displayed, the vocals spot on even when Frank Black lost his voice, the playman ship from Joey Santiago, and David Loverling were spot on and and they definately kept up with the legend. Kim Deal, is a cutie and probably old enough to be my mom, her voice is excellent and she knows how to handle a bass.

They played for themselves, not for us. They are a band on the mend, and trust me they are healing. As they were playing their heavier stuff was “Alternative? WE INVENTED THE SHIT BITCH!!! GONNA STEP?!?!?!?!”

Their list was great, there was lots of stuff from Surfer Rosa, and Dolittle. They threw in some Come on Pilgrim tracks, but it would have been great if they included stuff from Trompe Le Monde. The most interesting was in the beginning of the set with where is my mind, and ended it with it as well. The end version was faster and harder though, so it seemed like a proper goodbye. They did come out for an encore which they played Gigantic.

I was in tears because it was just so damn great, although my ears are ringing now and I have a head ache that will kill me for two days it was worth the wait, the money and the cold. By the end of the show the audience was yelling, “thank you!” to the band.

Oh and to FURTHER rub this show in to the people that didn’t go. I was front row center, so close I could smell Kim’s shampoo.

So much, so much, too little

Too much to write about so I’ll give bite size blocks

The vice presidental debates was today. I read some of the transcripts, looks like Edwards kicked the crap out of Cheney. And the polls on CNN, looks like Bush and Kerry is neck to neck. To this I need to say “ATTA BOY KERRY!!!! CLOSE THAT FUCKING GAP UP AND BUST THOSE FUCKS UP WITH A LEAD PIPE!!!!!!!! HIT ‘EM HARD BE AGGRESSIVE, KNOCK ‘EM AGAINST THE ROPES WITH THE ECONOMY, OSAMA, AND WORRY ABOUT VIETNAM LATER!!!!!”

Secondly sad news, that Rodney Dangerfield is dead. He was a great guy, he wasn’t funny but that’s what made him so funny. We’re going to miss you Rod.

Finally Halo 2 is done, yeah that’s right your heard me,
completely done. They are doing final testing and QA, it looks like. Then it’s the burning of several million DVDs. Also clan creation will be up and going soon, so I’ll be making mine as soon as that’s up. So November 9th, where you at? Dead by my hand, that’s where.

Now, I’m going to be out of here soon for a few days, my little brother is getting married and I’m not one to miss free booze. Even if I have to travel way upstate. Anyway I won’t be around, so take care of the place, bring in the mail, and let out the cat.

And the sacrifices I make

I went to my parents house yesterday, I figured I have more time on my hands so I should come by. It gets weirder and weirder when I come back to the poconos.

This area that had nothing when I was a teenager, when I say nothing I mean nothing dead last to anything nothing. No people, no fun, the only thing that kids my age did for fun was try to get committed to the local loony bin.

Now that I came back this area is still as retarded as always (the vice boro president of Jim Thorpe just was fired. She thinks because it was a disagreement over the hiring of a single yes just a single fucking maintaince worker.

What makes it worse they had a press conference for this, and the actual boro president was in near tears over this shit. He was acting like the charges were as serious as watergate, or monica lewinsky (I still think the monica lewinski thing was bullshit however)

It takes small things to rock the political world of shit shit hole I tell you. Speaking of Rocking the political world, was anyone honestly expecting the NJ governor thing? I still expect them to say april fools or just kidding on CNN.

Yeah I’m digressing, so I come back and this place is a fucking mall. Complete with giant water park (coming soon 2005). All over the place there is another shopping center with mega fucking stores of one type or another. The sad thing it’s all cyclic, and these rednecks here don’t even realize it.

They get jobs at a Target, or Wallmart, or Home Depot. That’s their income, where is there income going half the time? Back to the fucking megastores that gave them a job in the first place. It’s not job creation, it’s share cropping with red vests. Yeah and they are still going to vote for Bush, fuck I would just love to choke one of these people to death, as I unload a glock in their face just once.

…call me a greaseball wop, you sister fucking, inbred, whore bag. Fuck I hate it here.
