Ok fine, maybe I believe in signs a little too much.
So I enrolled in classes today. I lucked out and got the ones I wanted. So awesomely enough I didn’t need a backup schedule, which is good because I didn’t have one.
I was about to leave school then I saw that there was an info session on the screenwriting certificate. Sweet considering I enrolled in the intro class, I bopped over to the session got some questions answered.
When that was done, I decided to go to barnes and noble and stop off at the diner. I went to the photography section hoping to find something on road trip photography, because my heart is more involved with the heart ‘o’ darkness trip than anything.
I had the book in mind, The Americans by Robert Frank (intro by Jack Kerouac). The problem was that it was out of print for god knows how long, and the only copy I managed to find locally was at a bookstore. I twas a mint first condition, and worth 200.
I refuse to pay 200 for any book.
It being the BN and all was a new fresh printed copy for 40 bones.
Score!
Considering I enrolled in a photography class (which I’m VERY nervous about), I’ll consider it a good sign.
