HD is weird
So I’m not getting cable. I refuse to simply because I don’t want to pay a monthly expense for something I’m going to use maybe at most once, or twice a week.
So I get an antenna, I’m pretty much almost in line of sight of the empire state building, so I should get a good signal right?
I plug it in, and the TV does a sweep of all available channels. I have 28, ok not bad because even the most least expensive direct TV provides that.
So, I look around to see what I got. I figured if I have PBS, I’m cool.
I start flipping the channels and I find out that I have the doc channel? The tube? Cablesque stuff? Why is there like 4 different versions of channel four, seven, nine, and five? What?
Pretty cool, no PBS though.
