I went to my parents house yesterday, I figured I have more time on my hands so I should come by. It gets weirder and weirder when I come back to the poconos.
This area that had nothing when I was a teenager, when I say nothing I mean nothing dead last to anything nothing. No people, no fun, the only thing that kids my age did for fun was try to get committed to the local loony bin.
Now that I came back this area is still as retarded as always (the vice boro president of Jim Thorpe just was fired. She thinks because it was a disagreement over the hiring of a single yes just a single fucking maintaince worker.
What makes it worse they had a press conference for this, and the actual boro president was in near tears over this shit. He was acting like the charges were as serious as watergate, or monica lewinsky (I still think the monica lewinski thing was bullshit however)
It takes small things to rock the political world of shit shit hole I tell you. Speaking of Rocking the political world, was anyone honestly expecting the NJ governor thing? I still expect them to say april fools or just kidding on CNN.
Yeah I’m digressing, so I come back and this place is a fucking mall. Complete with giant water park (coming soon 2005). All over the place there is another shopping center with mega fucking stores of one type or another. The sad thing it’s all cyclic, and these rednecks here don’t even realize it.
They get jobs at a Target, or Wallmart, or Home Depot. That’s their income, where is there income going half the time? Back to the fucking megastores that gave them a job in the first place. It’s not job creation, it’s share cropping with red vests. Yeah and they are still going to vote for Bush, fuck I would just love to choke one of these people to death, as I unload a glock in their face just once.
